GCMS Notes Request Within Canada - Privacy Or Access To Information Act?

Hi all,

I am about to request GCMS notes for my PR application as it has been nearly 6 months since AOR.
I currently reside in Canada so I am going to request my notes directly from https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

I am confused as to whether I should choose to request my notes under the Privacy Act or the Access to Information Act:

Does anyone know what are the differences between these two options and which one I should choose?

The Privacy Act is for persons in Canada and there is no fee. However, request for individual not in Canada must be made through the Access to Information Act and there is a fee. Therefore, if the record is only for yourself who is living in Canada then you can go ahead and request the records under the Privacy Act. However, if you have dependents not in Canada and you want to see their information as well then you must request the records under the Access to Information Act to get yours and their information.
