Hi everyone I need an advice please. Ordered gcms which did not arrive in 35 days so I sent an inquiry to email indicated in the acknow.of receipt email with my tracking number. However my email kept coming back with the following message:
"Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

<atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca>:
Remote host said: 554 Service unavailable; Client host [nm8-vm0.bullet.mail.bf1.yahoo.com] blocked by bl.Spamcop.net; Blocked - see http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?" I tried from different emails but all end up the same. Question: how can I contact them and find out what's going on with my gcms order? Last time I received it on time but now nothing. Thanks in advance.

In all cases that I've seen where someone's gcms notes didn't arrive and they wrote in, Vic's response was to resubmit the request - i realize this means waiting another 30 days but it's likely what you'll be told so you should probably focus on that

Double that. Happened to me before, they (CIC) were pretty inflexible about it, regardless of my requests to expedite the request using the original email confirmation as a proof of initial submission...

My case might be an exception, but when mine did not arrive for 40 days, I emailed them. They apologized and said that the would send it the very same day, which they did. Technically, they are bound by law to respond in 30 days, not that we would do anything about it if they didn't.

Ok so I managed to send an email and I got a response that Im not eligible to submit a gcms request because I have to he and individual/corp currently present in Canada?!?!
So I answer that I am and the following email asks me to submit a proof that I’m eligible to submit a request under Privacy Act, that is, a proof of my address in Canada:
- current utility bill
- valid visa
- citizenship card

I don’t have utility bill cause I live in an apartment building and I don’t pay utilities.
I am visa exempt and I don’t have visa. My wp expired but Im on implied status and the only way to check is through my immigr.number which they have
Citizenship card I obviously don’t have.
What to do? Has any of you had such an email experience with ATIP?
Thank you

Proof that you have the right to make a request:
Proof may include a copy of your Canadian passport, your permanent resident card, or an official document that demonstrates you are currently living in Canada (i.e. driver’s license, bill with proof of address, or work, study and/or visitor permit).
If you have a mailing address in Canada, you will NOT be required to provide proof.

So do you have any idea of why they might think you're not in Canada?

IF they saw that your work permit expired, that might be it, did you apply for a new work permit before the old one expired? How long ago, and did you do it online?
