gcms notes late - what to do

Hey guys,

I ordered my electronic notes online 31 days ago.

Everyone else i know has gotten notes on day 30. My confirmation email said 30 days too but they never came.

I have emailed 4 times in last 2 days (since 30day mark) with no response.

What can i do to getthem to email my notes?

We had the same problem,

we ordered ours to come electronically, and at about 33 days they still had not arrived, So I emailed the same address that I sent the request too, explaining it and asking where they were.

But I did get a response in less than 12 hours saying that they had decided to send my notes on a CD visa regular mail.
So I received them in the mail at around 45 days.

Yeah that really sucks, im not sure why they aren't responding, As far as I Know this "strike" doesn't involve that department at all.
Unless they are just really backed up maybe.

Hi I also applied for GCMS (2nd time) thru email on May 9, 2013. No response as of yet.

Hi LeisaP: What do you think why they would even bother to send the report through CD instead of email ?? Was you report so big/long enough to accommodate a CD instead of an email ??? I am just curious and requesting your opinion about it. Thanks in advance.

I am aware of this however if they need 30 days they should reply o our emails telling us so instead of just ignoring our emails when our notes are past due.

I did not know that CIC sometimes need to consult third parties to release the information in GCMS report.

yes I know, but When I spoke to the lady prior to ordering my notes, she said they are suppose to let you know BEFORE the 30 days if an extension is required.

I have emailed them 8 times in the last 48 hours (since my 30 day deadline passed). I included our info (file number, UCI's, DOB's, and the record tracking number I got when I submitted the online request).

However, they've ignored all of my emails. :

For those of you who have waited longer than the 30 days here is the link for complaints:

While you may not get anything from your individual complaint all complaints have to be logged. It creates a paper trail.

I have been waiting for 45+ days for my gcms note. Those who received it very late what was the difference between note generated date and receiving date? they usually generate it a few days after requesting but do not send us right away.
