I have exceeded processing times extensively and was thinking of applying for GCMS notes. While I have read that GCMS notes does not expedite the process, does it help bring your file into notice? Have seen some people receive updates post GCMS notes. Not sure if it's just coincidence or if it actually makes a difference. Does anyone have any info on this?

I’ve been through some threads where people have received their decisions after they receive the GCMS notes and i believe its a coincidence because there are people who have even received their decision after raising webforms while we havent so it may just be a coincidence

GCMS don't expedite your process. Neither do they slow it down.

It's just a piece of detailed information on your process.

Its certainly not going to hurt. Why not know why your application is late?
