GCMS notes delaying the application

Hello,
I would like to share with you my experience to avoid a similar situation
My application is overdue by 2 months ( Oct 2020 / Montreal's office) so I have decided to request my local MP help.
I was surprised to read her answer that IRCC told her my application is delayed due to the fact that I have requested GCMS notes twice on the last 6 months.

So IRCC started penalizing us..... No sense

I have heard in the past that IRCC suspends processing for 30 days while the GCMS is being processed, but I've never heard any confirmation yet until now. I guess anyone who is applying for GCMS in the future should take this into consideration.

this is the first time I heard like this. My spouse 's application had next step after every time ordered ATIP, I think It was a coincidence.

The thing is if IRCC processed applications on time or at least provide clear updates about applications then people will not resort to GCMS notes just to get details about their application
