1 year as Service desk associate
1 year as System administrator
2 year and 3 months as Desktop support engineer
1 year 3 months as Service delivery engineer

Intended course of study - Cloud computing for big data at Lambton college
Reasons given in SOP - Want to chose a track in information technology as a cloud computing architect as I am currently working in a generic IT field which involves working as a level 2 engineer for all domains eg - Networking, Server, Cloud computing etc

CAIPS Reason of rejection -

After completing bachelor of business administration in 2010, PA has worked as a Service desk associate, System administrator, Desktop support associate and Service delivery engineer. Now wants to do cloud computing for big data - after a gap of six year since previous No logical progression in studies/profession by doing this course. Given the information before me, I am not satisfied that PA is not applying for unknown purpose other than studies and as such, I am not satisfied that PA is a genuine student.


I really want to stick to this course but not sure why VO is not convinced. Kindly help and confirm what changes i can make

Yes I attached my employment salary slips and experience certificate..

My IELTS is 6.5 (all band above 6)

Your academic profile below this thread says overall 6.5 not less than 5 ,please check it

If you have provided your all employment certificate along with salary slips then why they have mentioned a 6 years gap in you Caips notes ? It seems something was missing in your application related to gap clarification

No band less than 6 I meant that was a typo in signature..

Probably they mean I haven't done anything from last 6 years related to the course am going to pursue that is cloud computing

In CAIPS evaluation the above reason is mentioned and in the Visa refusal letter below was mentioned -

Reason 1 - Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: Your qualifications, previous studies, missing marks cards, gap in studies employment, level of establishment, language abilities or your future prospects and plans.

Reason 2 - You have not satisfied me that you would leave canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision I considered several factors including:-
