Background check: Your Application Is in Progress From Not applicable.

please explain about this

In my GCKey , there is nothing updated , since i created the account , which is more than a year now ,, the only thing appears there is :
Please select Continue to return to the Government of Canada online service.

That's it !

Passport request is next. Should not take more than 2 months. Next time your background check will go to in process again, passport request will come with in a week. In our case not applicable remained for 1 and half month. congratulations! you are very close.

Hi there, our background check was Not Applicable too and then they requested to redo our medical. We passed the medical exam and the background check went to In Process at the same time. Its been like this for almost 5 weeks now. Is this normal? Are we getting close to the end? How long we have to wait for DM/PPR? Thank you!
