Gap year issue. please answer if possible.

I hope everyone is doing good. I have something to ask forum members please advise your best
I left my job in September 2013 as I wanted to get some time to understand Canada study option and Didn't join any company as I am stuck in my education loan and other formalities at my home town, Now my consultant says as I have more than 6 months of gap from September to March 2014 as I will apply for Visa in March for May 2014 session It will be a problem to get my study visa. Is that a problem? I guess we can mention that I have been working since 2004 and now I have been arranging loan and was spending time with my family before I leave for Canada, hoping I will get visa. Will that be a problem? please advise what should I do? as I do have gap in previous years too, I did 10+2 in 2004 and then Graduation in 2008-2011 but I have experience that can be verified between 2004-September 2013.

Please also advise components to mention on SOP
10th 2002 with 58%
12th 2004-69%
graduation 2008-2011-64%
2004-2013 work experience with 3 different companies

also i wanted to know as per new policy if I arrive in Canada in may will I be able to work starting for June1st without off campus work permit and as my course will be finish in December after 8 months as per new policy I can work full time for time I will have in hand after December until I get my work permit i guess we get 90 days.

Please help answering these questions for me.

Hi,

I am not sure about the impact of a gap year on visa application but as far as applying to a university is concerned, I too had a gap year wherein I was preparing for entrance examination but that hasn't been a problem yet. I got offer letter from Concordia recently.
Again, no idea about Visa but I think if you have a genuine reason that it shouldn't be a problem

I am not sure what your profile is and to be honest I have not much knowledge about this as if now as even I am new to this but what I think is if you can justify your gap years I don't think VO will have any issues rest it's your luck.

You can justify your this gap in your statement of explanation. Explain everything that after SEP. 2013, you started preparations to study in Canada, searched the universities/college, communicate with the professors, gather the documents, etc...
Try to be honest and explain/justify your gap in your statement of explanation.

Yes you can do work off-campus from June 1st without applying for any Off-Campus Work Permit.

Yes you are allowed to work Full-Time while waiting for the decision on your PG work permit request.

Thank you Usman and also I would like to know I have gap in my studies I did 10+2 in 2004 and then Graduation 2008-2011. My consultant said they are applying under SPP I hope I am eligible to apply under SPP or is that a problem? as I have not confirmed this from consultant.Please advise!
