Is it true that it is hard to get study permit in Canada if i have more than 3 years of gap since i done my MBA.

What i am trying to say is that i completed my MBA in 2010. After that i started job till now outside Canada.

Now i want to get study permit in Canada so are there any restrictions to get study permit in Canada?

If you can justify the gap, then there would be no problem. Since, you were working, that won't be considered as a gap. Many people apply after 10 or 15 years of their study with relevant work experience and get the visa. So, that wouldn't be a problem for you. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply, it's sigh of relief for me and my spouse. I completed my studies and right after that I got job in my relevant field. I am continuously on job without a single break. I switched few employers / companies though.

If I could justify the scenario of my spouse. She got job in relevant field immediately after her MBA. After few years she left the job because she got married and having a child and became full fledge home maker (house wife). Now she want to pursue her studies in Canada.

In either case I believe we are eligible to apply for study permit in Canada regardless of a certain but justified gap in our last degree.

Suggestions please.
