GAP of 3 years help me guyzzz

hi everyone i want to apply for secondary Diploma Electric engineering technology with CO-OP program for fall intake 2013 in Ontario.
I my IELTS score is 6.5 band no band less than 5.5
The thing to worry is, i have completed my High school in 2008 and then i left my studies and now i am pursing my HSC. i have Gap of 3 years if i get an offer letter from college will i get my visa under spp ??
will my gap effect me ???
