gap of 1.5 years

my profile is btech(ECE)-78%(2011),mtech(ECE)_75%(2013) with thesis pending.. IELTS-7.5... i haven't done thesis as a result i didn't get mtech degree.. i have only marksheets of academic semesters of mtech...i started preparing for bank exams in 2013 for whole year... then i switched to ielts in 2014 to go canada.. now there is gap of 1.5 years since my studies... i have chosen project mgmt course in a canadian college in sept 2014 intake through a consultant.. they assured me that gap won't be a problem as they will mention some good reason in SOP. i have consulted other consultants, they told me to show work experience instead of incomplete mtech... i'm really confused... please help me out... what should i do...??? waiting for ur kind reply...

Being truthful and writing all this in the sop will make ur path easier

If you can arrange work experience letter from a company that will be great but there should be someone in the company who can verify that you worked if contacted by embassy. Although this is very rare but you will need to be very careful.

But I will suggest not to lie on your application.

@propain,@ali.ahmed- thanks... do they check salary statements with job experience certificate??
or by simply quoting the actual reasons behind gap would work out and if attaching all admit cards of exams that i have gone through would work out...???
