Hi there,

My profile is as below:
- NOC 1111 - 1 year 2 months
- Another NOC - 6 months
- NOC 1111- 1 year 4 months ( currently working)

Can I add up my 1 year 2 months and 1 year 4 months to qualify 2 years experience points in FSW grid?

I found the information below but I am not sure whether I misunderstood it or not.

Many thanks for your help!!!

Your work experience must be:

  • in the same type of job as your primary NOC
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
  • at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
    • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Yes you can for fsw eligibility. However to get maximum crs, you should have three years+ . Which I see is your overall exp across all three noc. What's the other noc which u have not specified?

It is NOC 1122. I believe that it is still in type A skill, so I can claim it for 3 years experience under CRS. However, for FSW, the sentence "in the same type of job as your primary NOC", and "continous" got me think that it needs to be continuously in one NOC only, withou another NOC interrupted in between. Your answer clarified a lot, thank you!
