I would disagree. think the most important is that you are genuine student and you have ties to your own country. You will have to show you have funds for complete tuition and 10K for living expenses. You are getting ahead of yourself. You need to see if your educational background makes you eligible to apply for the program.

you already know of his educational background. Because of some family issues he was unable to continue at that time but later on he started with completing his DBA. So now should he just give up on studying in Canada because how else can he become eligible?
