further medical request for super visa

Hi,

My parents (father and mother) applied for super visa. They did one round of medical test as requested by CIC and sent.

CIC has send further request for my father to go for further medical test. Is it a problem or normal process. My mother did not recieve any further request.

Has it happened with anyone? what are the chances of visa approval?

Quite common. Often CIC wants more in depth information because the medical is a very basic health overview. Most are sent to get more cardiology or nephrology tests.

He is fit and sound. i am not sure if in past he had this. Will this cause a concern eventhough he is fit?

Best to go with the flow. Your dad has not been told why he needs to go through these medical furtherance. Hopefully it is nothing serious

If medical doctor asks about "Sputum Test", it will take 50-60 days to get result and Process time will get 2 months more than usual.
