Hi,

I need to show about CAD 11500 in order to apply for immigration under skilled category. Can any please advise me on following points:-

1. Do I need to show this fund at the starting of the application???
2. If yes submitting a bank statement will work or do I need to submit any other proof of funds.

you need to show the fund at the time of submitting application.you may show it as fixed deposit or saving balance.

Thanks for the reply.I dnt have any fixed deposit.only funds are there in my salary account.so can i show bank statement. Is this will work
 
thanks IamFSW.....but bank statement will show money in Indian rupees. Is that will be ok
 
Most bank provides bank certification letter infact they stateclearly conversion amount in CAD.pretty sure about hdfc.you need to show bank balance in saving account .Try to maintain constant 11500 in your account.

Make sure that you show the most recent 6 months bank statement (duly signed and sealed by the bank) as well as a Bank Reference letter which states that you have an account with them and the current balance of the account (again signed and sealed).

Your Bank would be issuing a statement in INR. Just include a cover letter mentioning the Amount in CAD (also mention the CAD/INR conversion rate for that day). Hope this helps.
 
only a bank certifyinng that u have xxx rs. In ur bank account on bank letter head, signed by the authorized person is suffucient.

Dear friends,
I had some of my POF in the form of fixed deposit in state bank , now it has finished its term and got matured so I fixed it again for another 6 months , I want to know should I inform visa office about this change , I came to know that the fixed deposit no. Changes when we renew it again. I have already done my medicals and passport submission waiting for visa stamped passports . Just tell me friends is it neccessary to inform visa office of this change it's a small amount or else I am planning to send a small mail with the new fixed deposit no. Please guide

Dont Worry Binson, no need to inform VO bout Pof, if they require new and updated one, they shall duly inform you.

Binson,no need to inform VO about it.If they request you to update your proof of fund,then go to your bank and print your new statement.So no worries @ all!!
