Hello,

We will be landing soon. We will stay in canada 3-4 weeks and I will bring enough funds with me which would be enough for 3-4 weeks stay. I have funds,property and jewlery which we want to bring in canada later. Do I need to declare all my assets which I mentioned above which we will bring later? If yes then which Form I need to fill and submit at landing time? Please help urgently.

Thanks for your reply. I already filled both B4 and B4A forms. I believe that B4A form is used for household items to follow after landing. I need to declare my fund, property and jewlery which we will bring later. I am not sure but may be I need to fill Personal Worth Statement to declare above assets or shall I mention these items on B4A.

Jewelry is listed on the B4 to follow later requires an evaluation and pictures if they are valuable. Property is not transferable, you don't list funds or property.

At landing time I want to declare my funds that I will bring in canada at later time (let's say after one year). Please tell me, which form I should fill for that purpose?

you dont have to declare any funds you will bring to canada later. you only need to declare if you are bringing in more than $10000 when arrive.

Hi PMM/TJob and Seniors,

I need you guys help. As some forum friends replied and they said that I dont need to declare funds at landing time which we will bring later. If I dont declare my funds at landing time, at later do I need to pay any Tax etc? Same thing with jewlery which will bring later.

I would like to mention list of documents which I have prepared for landing, please confirm and advise for any correction, mind it that we will land and stay there only 3-4 weeks and comeback, later we will go there permanently:

1. I filled B4A forms for all our household items which we want to bring in canada later.
2. I filled B4 form for jewlery which my wife and daughters would wear at landing time.
3. I have documentary prove of funds which we want to transafer to canada later (no form filled).

Please reply me soon because we have to land there in couple of days.
