Funds in Bank for VISA Process-Very Urgent Please

Hi,

I have got admit to Concordia University Alberta and have paid 1st year Tuition fees and GIC without any loan.
I have medical's scheduled later this weekend.

Guys Please tell me how much mininmum funds should i have in my account or parents before applying for VISA??
If i transfer any sort of funds in my account just prior to the VISA process , will the funds be background checked/ does it effect my VISA??

B.E Computers-70% with 3+ years experience in SAP

You only need to show 1st year tuition + 10,000 CAD for living expenses. Since you have paid your 1st year tuition already, you only need to show the receipt + the 10K CAD.

If the money is in your parents' account, it doesn't have to be transferred to your account. Just have them write an affidavit of support.

i have paid the Tuition fees 1st year+ GIC money from my own account not parents.....

Now i dont have much balance in my account

So my concern is that will this create any hurdle in my VISA process??
is there some specific Amount threshold i need to show in my account prior VISA application??

Like I said, you now only need to show 10k CAD (the more the better) since you have already paid the tuition fees. It doesn't matter if that 10k CAD that you are going to show is in your account or your parents'. If it is in your parents' account, then there's no need to transfer the money to your account. Just let them write an affidavit of support that they are going to support you financially for your living expenses during your stay in Canada.

the same applies to University category VISA right, mine is a 2year Master's course??? , i am completely a newbie so lot's of question

You are from India if I'm not mistaken, right? Though, I am not really familiar with your specific requirements since I am from the Philippines but I think we have almost the same requirements. I think the only difference is that we are required to show 24 months bank statements (I only submitted 4 months bank statements since some people from the my country did the same and still got their visa) plus the bank certificate as proof of funds. Other proofs are optional like income tax returns, certificate of employment, business permits, etc.
