Funds from accompanying spouse

Hi all

I am the main applicant and my husband is accompanying me. If he transfers some funds (around half of the requirement) from his account into my account, should we include a letter confirming that it is a gift to be used for immigration purposes? Can it be an informal letter? What if I have received money from close family members?

Thanks.

Transfer not needed. Just need a written declaration from spouse that he has no objections to his funds being used for settlement purpose.

Thanks. We have already transferred the funds though because we thought it would be easier to show that way that I have access to the funds.

Then explain the same in LoE and still get written declaration from spouse and show both statements to show funds transfer.
