Hello everyone I need some information regarding sponsoring family members. So from what I understand, The sponsor needs to show a certain amount of income for the past 3 tax years. Currently, I do not meet the required income, but what if my parents already have sufficient funds in the bank... like can bank statements showing Large amount of funds in my parents accounts be used to make an application? or even better, if those same funds were under my name in my bank account... or is showing tax information and income statements for past 3 years the only way?

Showing tax information / income statement for the past 3 years is the only way. You must be making an income in Canada that meets the minimum requirements to sponsor them. Funds in bank accounts aren't accepted.

Thanx for the response.... dissappointed to hear that, although I have a follow up question... can sponsor + sponsors spouse income be added to meet the requirement?

Yeah it can, they would have to sign as a co-signer and you guys probably should get letters from your employer. And also write a letter each saying how you plan to provide for the family your sponsoring. Btw it also depends on who your planning to bring..
