Funds Doubt!

Hi
So I have 2 FDs 1 has balance of 1 lakh and other has balance of 6 lakhs. Is it sufficient for funds or do I need to show something else other than this? Please let me know if anything else is required.

Bro it doesn't, I am still confused. Some consultant said that I just need to post the FDs along with a statement from bank stating that I don't have any loan pending. But according to CIC they are asking for bank details along with details of bank balance and everything.

Anyhow My simple doubt is whether 2 FDs and a statement from bank (no loan) would suffice that I have good enough funds to support myself in canada?

You could show any number of FDs from different banks at all. Just show the FD certificate. or you may go to bank and ask them to provide a provisional letter- so that they give a letter with the FDs available with them in your name.

I havent provided any 6 months statement. I just provided the above mentioned letter and i have showed another banks details as well. I showed 4 different banks which includes my savings bank in another country too.
It all about how genuine your funds are and how you convince them with proper covering letters etc.

thanks buddy... so i am going to attach bank statement along with FD but my bank has only 50,000₹ as everything i got converted to FD. woulf that be a problem?

You could show savings as well as FD too. I showed like that.. 3-4 FDs remaining in savings account.
