Hi,

We will be travelling to canada by road for a week to complete the pr card process.
I want to know if we need to carry more than $10000 as we will be back to US in one week.
At the border do they even ask for original certificates and documents?
Do I have to carry all the original papers to canada for a week?

1. Yes, you require proof of funds for your initial "landing". Yes of course they ask for the original required documents, (passport, COPR, POF, GTAs.)it is the exact same as "landing" at an airport.

Hi
Get all your documents ready you will need them and I don't think you need to take that amount of money with you on your journey, take want you need and evidence to show you have funds available in a bank amount.
all the best
