Hi all,

We are going to fly Canada in coming September.
I have some confusion..is it mandatory to bring the amount we mentioned in application i.e around $17,000.
What will happen if I could not manage that amount.

Please help me.

Hi,

You are required to show the minimum required amount at the time of making entry to Canada, you can show this amount in cash, travellers cheque or statement of a Canadian Bank. But NOT showing the minimum amount will not let you enter the Canada and you will be sent back home.

Dear Deepak,
You have to show the minimum amount as stipulated according to the number of persons. Please see the link: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
