If you have a Valid Job Offer, you do not need to show the proof of funds.

There are some clauses for a Valid Job Offer, so I would suggest you to please check if it fits the criteria.

If you are invited under FSW then fund requirement is necessary .

1) if your ITA is for Canadian Experience Class, you don't need to show funds.

2) If your ITA is for FSW, and your job is supported by an LMIA (that's what a "valid" job offer is) then you don't need to show funds.

3) If your ITA is for FSW, and you have a job in Canada, but no LMIA, then you need to show funds. It is POSSIBLE (STILL not conclusively proven) that you can show your funds in the form of your salary. Better to have it in the bank, but I wouldn't decline the ITA if this is the case.

4) If your ITA is for FSW and do not have an LMIA-supported job offer - you need to show funds.

Right. That's what I was trying to correct. But I don't think the poster meant any harm!

Then you need to show funds if you don't have an LMIA and a permanent job offer. If you have an LMIA and a permanent job offer (or a contract for a year or more under certain circumstances), then you don't need to show funds.
