Fund declaration

Dear members,

I will be landing to Toronto on summer but will stay for a short period and then will leave . I will be declaring about the fund I carry which is more than CAD 10,000.

now, what about the remaining fund which I will carry second time when I go to settle in Canada, how will I declare about them so they couldn't been taxed

Hello Moe,
In my opinion you declare the funds the firs time you go this summer and then when you land in Canada Open e Bank Account and when you plan to move permanently to Canada transfer the other sum from your country to the account in Canada.
