Full Time work experience calculation.

Hi All,

As per cic website : 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

So, i work 45 hours /week which sums to 2160 for an year.

Assume , i had worked in the NOC for 3 years which means (3 * 2160 ) = 6480 hrs

6480 / 1560 = 4 years 1 months.

Is this how i should calculate exact work experience ?

Simple answer 3 years.

The figure of 1560 hours is the minimum per calendar year does not matter how many hours more you work in excess of that as they do not count and cannot be carried over year on year.
