I would like to open a discussion about the possibility of directly going into full-time stock trading as soon as becoming a landed immigrant in Canada.

Have any of our seniors here already done it? How many of the aspiring applicants are thinking of doing stock trading, whether full-time or part-time once they land in Canada?

What are the things that you think are needed to be considered? Opinions, questions, advice and first hand experiences are highly appreciated. Thanks.

as my understanding, you landed in Calgary Canada, have you do full time stock trading? Can you share your knowledge and experience about full/ part time stock trading in Canada.

lol...if you are really professional financial technician, you do not need a job to be a stock trader.
Just register a broker account (or pay for direct stock exchange access) and trade with your own money from any place in the world...Trade 1 hour/day, 8 hours/day, 24 hours/day - as many hours as you want.
Once you get some good trading results history, you'll be able to create a fund or get another way to get investments. It is not that kind of activity where people hire you by CV...

Asking for a full-time stock trading job immediately considers you as a loss player who lost his own money on trading and wants to trade for loss money of other people.
