Hi all,

I need 2 cents from you all. I have applied under 4131 and I have 2+ yrs of exp. But my experience letter says "full time on Contractual basis" and I have taught in two college-- second one is 3 weeks less then a year and Ist one is 1 1/2 yrs fulltime but my salary was really low it was contractual too...
It was in govt college and once you clear state's public service test then only the position becomes full time permanent.

I am compiling my documents to send to visa office...NS approved my case....

Hi Canadianhope,

Congratulations for getting on approval from NS. You have won your first round my friend :)

CIC rules says full time & continuous and no matter what your salary was so do not need to worry on this part. The second experience letter is already for more than one year so you will be fine with it.

I am also in a process to send my application to NS and my NOC code is also 4131. I have had work experience under NOC-4131 in the past and that too was on contractual basis. I taught there for 2 academic sessions and my salary was low too. Currently I am employed as a Secondary teacher which falls under NOC-4141 and skill level A so I can apply.

I may need your help with my application.......my college is being reluctant to write the dates I have worked for them so they have written sessions on the experience letter. Since your case has been approved by NS....Could you please write here the draft of your experience letter for me?

I would appreciate your help.
