As per instructions issued in OB 252, visa offices should continue to process applications in a 2:1 case processing ratio—specifically two older cases submitted before June 26, 2010 to one case submitted on or after December 1, 2010.

jnathan - this ratio is applicable for IIP category and not FSW. See the link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2010/ob252.asp

theres gotta be a similar set of instructions for FSW1 applications.

Hi everyone, I think our turn is coming soon for the following two reasons
My personal observation London VO and all other for that matter are processing based on the date application was sent to CIO and on strict chronological order and they have reached till December 2009 so soon it will be our turn.
Second reason the reply from London VO shown on the following thread

http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?s=bcb5bec64a63bd5166e085c98ce048d2&t=726172

“I have reviewed ............ applications you mention and I see that all have applied under Ministerial Instructions 1. At the moment, as you may be aware, CIC's priority for processing federal skilled worker applications lies with those submitted under Ministerial Instructions 2. London is, accordingly, focussing its efforts on MI 2 processing, however we do have some capacity for processing MI 1 cases as well. We are bringing MI 1 applications into active process according to date of application (oldest cases processed first).

You may be aware that in 2010, London took over processing of economic cases that were previously handled by our office in Islamabad. With this transfer, we inherited MI 1 applications that were older than those in London's existing inventory at the time. As such, when we have capacity to process MI 1 cases, we are working on these older cases first. Once we achieve application date parity between the Islamabad cases we inherited and our existing London federal skilled worker caseload, we will resume bringing MI 1 cases from the London caseload into active process.

While I cannot provide a precise estimate as to when the ..... cases you referred to will enter active processing, it will be a good number of months yet and perhaps not until into 2012.”

standard reply.
They are not gonna look deeply at the pre june 2010 Files until they wrap up finalizing Post June 2010 and Post July 1, 2011 applications. their operation bulletin has instructed them tow work on 2:1 basis. 2 old files, 1 new files.

Dear Janathan,
you have mentioned, VO are not seeing deeply to the pre june,2010 files but earlier after you wrote they(VO) are working 2:1 basis.
Don't you think this is confusing.

Currently MI-2 applicants getting the top priority. after that MI-3. after that MI-1 along with backlogs.

Hi everyone,

Any new for applicant sent their full documents in MAY 2010.

This is reply form CIC of mine inquiry..It is very frustrated..
Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

Hi pal83,

Thanks for your information. GOD bless all of us.
