I got med forms on november 2. med exam passed on nov 10. waiting for POVL now!

yes it took me a year. my case was delayed because buffalo returned my application twice. started applying aug'09 and get my first aor from cio on oct'09 then send my whole stuffs to buffalo on dec'09. they send my application back on feb'10 coz wife didn't fill the form completely and resend it within that month. after 2.5 months they return my application again because they were asking to add some docs. after completing what they've ask again i send it back to them on may'10 then got may 2aor on oct'10 (almost 5 months) and they transfer my file to LA office within the month. now another period of long wait. persevere and patience and keeping my faith alive hoping that i will get good answer at the end.

Hello All

Do we have to send any fees to the Visa Office after getting 1st AOR? My relative have applied from Buffalo and the "Visa Office Specific Instruction" manual says that we have to submit the funds in Canadian Dollars which my relative has already done while submitting the forms in Sydney, Canada.

Hi lifeincanada,

You don't have to pay any fees while submitting ur supporting documents to the visa office.The only fee u may have to pay at the later stage is 'The Right of Permanent Residence fee' only upon request from the visa office.

Thanks Pearl2010 for your information.

I was in doubt because the visa office specific information states the payment of the fees but doesn't mention which one.
