From what I learned from other threads, this transfer is supposed to be good news. Not sure though but keep my figures crossed. They said I have 90days before making any move (e.g. requesting the status of my file).
Hope luck will stay with us )

That's a good news indeed! After our long wait for the 2nd AOR, at least Buffalo started to move again...
When did you received your 2nd AOR? mine was October 13th...hopefully my file will also move as fast as yours!
Cheers! ;D

here's a reply from buffalo office when i send a query about change of address and planning to go back to my home country.
"You can send your application to our Buffalo office and we will continue to process it as long as it meets our guidelines. If it is more convenient for you, you can of course re-apply at our visa office in your home country"
you can still change your address even if you're outside Canada as long as you notify VO for any changes just like what am doing now.
hope it helps and give you idea.

I moved to my home country in August 2010 and had requested Buffalo office for Address change even before getting 2nd AOR and they had updated accordingly .Then I got 2nd AOR in 28Sept 2010 and the both the old & new file numbers showed the new address. But from last week its showing the old US address :-X and also I received a mail from Buffalo office that my file has been transferred to LA.So thinking of sending an address change request to LA office by this week.
Did u request for address change after moving to your home country?
Thanks & Regards,
