Just checked my ecas and guess what.. My status got updated.. London VO started processing my application on February 28, 2012 ;D.. Hoping to receive docs updates and MR within this month..

Just need to inform you. There is a some change in my ecase status. I want to share with you.

We received your application for permanent residence on December 10, 2009.


We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 12, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.


We transferred your application to the London England office on February 17, 2010. The London England office may contact you.


Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 27, 2012.

I received an email from my consultant containing request for document updates.. AND Payment for RPRF (CAD 490).

Very good news indeed! Although there is no MR yet. Need to check again the letter from VO.

Updated forms, background declaration, pcc, Long Form Birth Certifiate (i dont know what long form is), travel forms.. Have to discuss all first with my consultant.. Im just praying for smooth process of all these updates.

It is very natural, we can expect lot of errors in our e-case as the NDVO is processing all the application in rush. (I am not sure, till what stage this rush will continue)
There are people who got In Process with date 3months ago but no one got any update or medicals request yet.
I guess NDVO has planned some schedule for entire MI-1 applications and they are strictly working on that(we can see that on mass In Process with dates status updates), only NDVO or Canadian Registered Consultants can provide more clarity on Medical Request or updates.
I am sure there are few people applied for CAIPS after their e-case updated to “In Process” with date, I request if you all can share details of the same.

Can anyone guide me how to get Qatar PCC in Abu Dhabi? I am currently residing in Abu Dhabi. I am confused by the "finger print form" as stated in cic website for getting PCC in Abu Dhabi.

If anyone has gone through the process, please share your experience.

Hi May 2010 applicants,

It's been awhile since I had posted some news or comments here but now I had some Good news for all of you , I had 2 freinds both were 2010 applicants one sent full docs. last May 2010. the other one was August 2010 and they had both received MR last month , I think the other one was sent MR last Jan. we are very happy to here that , I had sent mine November 2010 full docs. so hoping and praying that we are next...in line...so Bravo to Buffalo office moving at least.

But I had some questions hope you guys can give inputs, I'm still waiting for my divorce, Final divorce papers, how this will affect my applications ??? I had just sent letter from my stupid lawyer last May 2010 that he was processing my divorce and unfortunately after almost 2 years this coming May my divorce still processing, So my worries is did Immigration need to wait for my Final divorce before they sent me MR ??? or I'm good , I';m planning to re apply my divorce again to another lawyer this lawyer of mine I think is very stupid and slow, I need some advice pls. help me, i'm here in Canada should ne 5 to 1 yr. max for processing divorce, He's a geniune lawyer but the thing is he never take time I think because he got a lot of clients. My case is little bit unusual. VO asked already for the RPRF along with the docs update.. VO has not requested medical.. I thought RPRF will come after MR.. Don't know if this had happened to other applicants too..
