Hi vaibhavvd,
Do you get your 2nd file number? after getting 2nd file number it takes 3-4 months according to my consultant to get medical request. Like accordingly if i got my 2nd AOR on 25th august so I have to wait till December which is normal after that i need to be start worrying. But May be i can get before that!!

yours and mine timelines are ditto. did you get any e-cas update today? when do u think we should expect some kind of movements in our cases?

Hey Nadeem,
same are the views of my consultant as well. as per him i might get med request by mid of oct. as per them med request takes roughly 30-45 days min and 90-120 days max. hope everything goes well. whr r u located? did u start any sort of credentials evaluations of ur edu?

I am located in UAE. I am not the principal applicant my spouse is a principal applicant. Credential evaluation we did at the time of submission!!! o you are talking about transcripts? Where are you located?

Yes u can but before e-case status changes to "In-Process".

If u are short of two points then I can't understand why VO has sent u 2nd AOR?

Is 2nd AOR only the acknowledgment and nothing? If it is, then why we give that much importance?

Well, I think the second AOR is only a confirmation of receiving your documents by the visa office. Do you know if the VO will return the original documents if the file gets rejected??

I also got my 2nd AOR by letter dated 10th August two weeks ago, please can you put me on the up-dated list.

My concern is that my e-cas has still not changed.........

Thought some of you might be interested.....I'm going to Canada today for 6 months, leave in 2 hours.
Just doing some winter weather survival preparation. Would be good if VISA came in early.

Yes, of course they are bound to return all originals whether case get rejected or accepted.

On rejection of case they return the processing fee!!!!!! I think it is 550$...
