Its now almost 5 months now.

Does e-cas show that Buffalo send letter to you, when we check with file no.
Because when i check with file no from nova scotia, it says.

We transfered your file to Buffalo on August 4th.

We recieved your full application and supporting documents and file is pending for review.

Can somebody please suggest me what to do.

Sentence in bold shows that you have got what we call AOR. If you haven't received any letter or e-mail it could be good idea to check SPAM folders.

My AOR came 1.5month later than it should be and it was local post office fault not VO, it was kind a curios when you receive med. request first and AOR after a month...

You have any idea when Buffalo VO update e-case regularly?????

Is there any specific day we can check our e-case every week....like on every Monday or Tuesday

Hi,

e-cas status usually get's updated on Tuesdays.

Reading from other threads it seems sometimes after the status becomes in process,it doesn't change to next levels at all even though medical and passport requests are sent..

I am a Buffalo applicant. The visa office received my full document on August 31st 2010. On December 14th my ECAS changed into Received by visa office but no AOR since then. I have more than 20 weeks(that is the period of time shown on Buffalo's website regarding how long an applicant must wait for the AOR). Do you think I should send them an email? Thank you.

Spatel09 I think we are in the same boat; most of the August applicants who sent the full document to Buffalo received their AOR...I don't know but I think I'll send them an email.
