Hello VIncelynn! I am also new to this forum. Anaya is right. You have to inform the Canadian embassy right away before you gave birth at marelease ang visa. I didn't know this before pero right from the start ng processing ng application namin, I already informed the embassy na I'm 2 months pregnant. When my husband and I received the medical request nung August, I am already 7 months pregnant. We proceeded with the medicals na rin kaagad. Pinauwi ko pa agad yung hubby ko just for the medical kasi I didn't know na pwede pala sya maghanap ng accredited clinic sa Singapore. I also have my chest xray taken. One exposure to chest xray is not that dangerous. COntinuous exposure at saka kung paulit-ulit na exposure, syempre wag kang papayag. I also made sure na I made a waiver na agree ago to undergo chest xray as long as I wear a lead apron for my tummy. They provided naman. We received our passport request last week ng September na which is my 8th month. The embassy was asking for an address kung saan nila ipapadala yung passport pag ibabalik na nila. Since I am worried na baka walang magreceive dito sa bahay kasi all of us, including the maid, might be in the hospital na pag dumating yung passport kasi manganganak na ko, I made a letter to the embassy na i-address na lang sa office ng mom ko at sinabi ko din yung reason. Pinadala ko sa kanila yung passport namin and the letter. Right from the start naman I informed the embassy na pregnant ako and I didn't know na once I gave birth at nabigyan na ng visa, it will create a problem. That same week, nag email na agad yung Canadian embassy at nag request for additional documents for the newborn dependent. Since family of 3 na kmi, tama si Anata. We need to prepare $17,011k canadian dollars. They're also asking for Payment of applicable processing fee (CAD$150 or Php 6,450) if he/she is accompanying you to Canada, birth certificate, passport pictures, and passport details at syempre, ung updated IMM8 and IMM5406 and the deadline is 30 days after I gave birth. I gave birth Oct 7 to a healthy and charming baby boy. I submitted all the requirements Nov. 3 na. On Nov 16, i received medical request naman for my newborn dependent saka updated POF and the deadline is 30 days after. Right now, we're still waiting for our passports.
I hope i was able to help you. God bless you on your pregnancy at syempre dun din sa application nyo.
