Hi shaafqatz, my ecas states "in process" since july 4. I don't think they verified my employment status or whatsoever coz i never received any calls ,nd interviews waived i guess but still im hoping for the best.. don't you worry each of us has our own time. :)

Hi guyz

Anyone get any movement from London VO? Especially March/April 2011 applicants?

Dear All and Seniors,

Please follow up with my VO response which I received today:

Dear Applicant,

A fingerprint check is required for you, please follow the instructions below and send to the Canadian Consulate in Buffalo when you receive the assessed prints.

The Buffalo RPC does not accept RCMP police certificates based on a name check. The RCMP record check that we require must be based on a FINGERPRINT check.

Applicants appearing for fingerprinting will need to bring photo identification.

A fee is normally charged for the fingerprinting service. Fees may vary.
Have your fingerprints taken by your local RCMP detachment or local police service.

For additional instructions, you may wish to contact the RCMP at (613) 998-6362 or on the internet at
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm

IMPORTANT: ENSURE THAT YOUR IMMIGRATION FILE NUMBER AND OUR OFFICE ADDRESS APPEARS ON YOUR FINGERPRINT FORM.

Fingerprints must be forwarded to the RCMP for assessment:

Please reply me ASAP, is it the normal procedure? I never heard anything like that for my other fellows who are also applied Skilled Immigration.

Also is it the 2nd AOR? They Also mention file-number starting with B0XXXXXX

Thanks,
Nadeem

currently E-cas shows received by visa office.

question-1:
my indian passport validity is expiring on the 13 jan 2012 ,which means i have got approx 8 months to get it renewed .shall i go for the renewal immediatly or wait till i get an AOR or medical request(hopefully).i read in one of the discussions that i must get it renewed before that medical requests and update the london visa office about the change in the new passport number.or shall i wait till the expiry is clooser by 2 months and get it renewed.may be i might i got the medicals by then.

question-2:

am i supposed to update the london visa office about our travels since my application do not show these details.

Question 1: Yes, its better to get your passports renewed ASAP, my passport is also supposed to expire in Jan'12 but I have applied for renewal 2 months back.

Question 2: I thinks its better to update them, my opinion, although you can seek advice from experts like Qorax.

Hi Canadian Dream,

I am also in same boat.
My application status shows:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 8, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 11, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

After this i haven't received any message.

Please give any updates...

Thanks,

Andy
