Dear Casayed,
You were right that the application will be retunred un processed, I remember you also had similar experience, can you favour me the list of attachments with what to be original and notarised copy, I tried to find from different post here but they have conflicting details.
Thanks

Don't go on the posts when you can find all the information on the official website instruction guide. Check your CIO checklist and VO Checklist instructions. They will clearly tell you original/copy, etc.

it differs.if ur visa office is london they will ask for original birth certif bt if ur visa office is Singapore it will ask for photocopy.so its better to find the visa office check list what they want its described there clearly.
but most of visa office ask for --original transcript of university, original ielts result sheet, original bank ref letter, original work exp letter, original pcc,
notarized photocopy----educational certif, birth certif, passports biodata page it differs from vo to vo,
birth certif it differs from vo to vo,national id card if applicable, work contract letter, marriage certif,if any documents are not in English it must b translated, notary public should give the seal i have seen the orginal documents

Hi guys. Its been a long while since my last post. If not mistaken I posted when I sent my application.

I just want to update you after 37 days from receipt of application from CIO NS, I just received an email regarding my application.

It states that as per Ministerial Instrution II (after 26 June 2010 applicants) my application gets a PER and will be forwarded to my Visa office for further processing. I also get my AOR & file number for tracking. The first thing I did is to go on our altar and thank God. Godbless to all.

Congrats to you arkitekpaul! =) I'm still waiting, as my application package was received by CIO last april 20, hoping that my luck will come very soon.. Godbless you...

I checked E cas today and seen it changed to Received by visa office from eligibility review completed.
When I clicked the link it only shows...

'''We received your application for permanent residence on April 4, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 4, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us '''

May 4th I received an E mail regarding my PER..

Do I get an email or mail about the new status (RBVO) or is it normal that it shows only in E cas?

Hi there,

I think it is Normal. I have the same situation. I sent my complete application on 29th March 2011, it was received by CIO on April 5, 2011. They sent me PER on 6th May, 2011. My Ecas changed into RBVO yesterday or today. Coz I checked today there was no email but the status was changed in RBVO so I cant guess it changed yesterday or today. It must be normal.

Regards.

Dear Casayed,

Personally, I don't think London visa office requires the original birth certificate, only notarized and translated copy if not in English.

It's very risky to send them such a very difficult replacable original document. I agree with Pippin that to revisit the London visa office checklist to know exactly the required documents.
