Well in my case, stamping is of 3rd Feb & eCas went to DM on d 6th Feb..this is more or less the standard practice as i understand from other posts :)
Now that the visas have come..a realisation comes that there is a huge lot of things to do...phew..d journey actually begins NOW!!

Based on the timelines of other applicants, I had calculated that your Visas should be stamped around 3 Feb - so just wanted to confirm that :P

The normal practise that I am observing is that RPRF is encashed around 15-20 days from the Documents sent date and the DM is around 10-20 days from RPRF encashment and Visa Issued 3 days before DM. All these are similar in your case - Docs sent on 7 Jan, RPRF encashed around 20 Jan (correct me If I am wrong as I do not know the date when your RPRF was encashed) and DM around 6 Feb.

Check the tracker for cases of Ghani, Deex, Shaafqatz, Jeniya & Sham.Rash....They all have visa stamping 3 days before DM.

Although I predicted yours right but THEY PROVED ME WRONG ON MINE :P

I calculated DM on 20 Feb and Visa Issued on 17 Feb for us
But our RPRF was encashed on 15 Feb and the VISA was also issued on 15 Feb :P

My consultant has already received the VISAS and we will be collecting it from them on TUESDAY 8)
(They are closed on Sunday & Monday - MahaShivratri )

So we will be celebrating till we get it in hand :P :P :P :P :P :P and even after that :P :P :P :P :P :P

I am from Mumbai & we plan to fly in May.

It is better to book your tickets now as April is vacation season and the tickets would be much expensive at that time.

Try yatra.com or cleartrip.com, they might help you with cheaper or promotional flights :P

I have sent my full documents in Oct 2010. i received my 2 AOR in dec 2010. Now Ecas status is just "Application Received" with only one line Your application is received xxxxx date.. Is anyone same as me.. please reply. thank you in advance

It is better to book your tickets now as April is vacation season and the tickets would be much expensive at that time.

Try www.yatra.com or www.cleartrip.com as they might have cheaper or promotional flights. I have also read in other forums that British Airways does not have good food service and Jet Airways and Air India are good and cheap enough. So you can have a look at those flights too ;)
