I received my PER on Today May 18, 2011

Dear all,

Just a quick update, I just call to Citizenship and Immigration Canada a couple of hour ago, asking about the status for my application which was received at 15th April 2011 to CIO Sydney and they check from the system and told me, for now they are processing the application received at 14th April.

I'm waiting for my acknowledgment, I hope at the end of this week I will get any good news. Please guys keep posted the updates.

Thanks,
Nadeem

Amone, how did you contact them at CIC? what do u mean by "they didnt give me an exact info"?

What did they say? could you pls share?

I just called them . An operator told me that it is not known if my application in cap or not, then told me that mostly the application package usually is not opened the same day, probably the next day, and I need to wait for any reply up to December or in case of package return just reapply in July, after she checked with my birthday and full name in their system and told that there is no info which means that it is under review - and for this case she only can give me my client ID for checking online if there will be any change ... that's all :-\

Good new! Just got my PER a few minutes ago!!!!! My lawyer emailed me the letter from CIO .Documents were sent last April 1,2011 and got my PER today after 46 days. Kindly update my info in the spreadsheet. Thank you Lord!!!! ;D
I got my PER 3 days ago and my ECAS indicates Application Received, but when I checked this morning, my ECAS status was changed to CIO- Eligibility Review Completed. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 16,2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.... So what's the next step for me? Will my papers be transfered now to the Visa office in London? Please enlighten me. Also kindly update my info in the spreadsheet- Eligibility Review Complete. Have a nice day everyone!!!!! :) :) :)
