Why do you want to inform VO ? Make sure the account information you provided to ND VO is active with proper funds.

Need to wait minimum 8 months from 2nd AOR.

Its 5 months since full documents submission to VO , ND .

Their AOR (2nd) clearly mentioned that time line was 8 months and I should contact them in 3 months if I dont hear ,also my file would be placed for priority processing. . Although it was a standard email, I presume, that was the time frame (BFD's etc ) being alloted at that time for full documents received at that point of time. I hope, they keep it up. A month or two should be fine lol ha ha

Also, as it has been 5 months since full documents, I think I should have cleared the Paper Screening part, hence eligible and is waiting a BFD for a VO assessment . Out of these 5 months, let mepresume 3 months has gone for file creating, paper screening, then the other two months for visa officer assessment. If all is well, I should get medicals in 2-3 weeks. Ha ha ha, no harm in dreaming/wishing na, lolNo news is always good news !

Maran and other folks who have submitted to New Delhi VISA office, what exactly did your second AOR say regarding processing times.

Mine said - Typically it takes 10 months to process, but if you don't hear anything from us in 6 months contact us directly. I do not see anything about 8 months in my AOR. Just curious. Let me know

My guess is it will take 11 months (based on the current processing time for NDVO, it can go up) to finalize our applications regardless of what is mentioned in the second AOR. Based on that, we are looking at Fall of 2011 at the current pace, and end of fall into winter is not a good time to move. So if we don't get it by July - Aug (which is looking increasingly unlikely), we are better off waiting till Spring 2012!

BTW, a March applicant from Colombo VO got the medical request today (NOC 4131), after a wait of 10 months - full docs sent in May 2010.

Some 2nd AOR mentions 8 months and some mention 10 months. Mine also mentions 8 months. No clue as to the reason for the same.

Tej,

My AOR has 8 months..... and almost 5 months completed...just waiting keeping fingers crossed. You know for last 3 - 4 months things are really getting draged and we are predecting the slowness, lets hope for things to get sorted quickly and keep going.

I received my 2nd AOR ON March 14th but with the same file number and uci number as the 1st AOR. My escs status says application and supporting docs received by the Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office instead of New Delhi ofc and they are pending review. Why is it so? Could this be another escalation status bug? Any comments from the seniors or any one else having the same status??
