Hello

Please update my status from "RBVO" to "In Process".
Sorry, I don't know the who is the owner of excel sheet "Oct_NDVO_apps" on google documents.
If you can't, give me the right plz.
The date on which the status changed is "23-5-2012".
The Number is 42.

Thanks a lot

Added your info. What is the date mentioned in your ecase?
MI-1 applicants are eagerly waiting for medicals.. Let us hope for the best. Goodluck!

My current e-cas status says..
"We received your application for permanent residence on April 29, 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 28, 2012 to (address). Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us
. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 28, 2012.

my file is at VO New Delhi..

My queries are:
1. It is mentioned that they have sent a letter to me but i have not received any such letter. What are the chances that this is a 6-12 month wait letter.
2. As mentioned in e-cas, they have reviewed my file and are now processing. Does this mean that i have passed the eligibility test ( criminality and security n other tests are pending)
3. I applied in april 2010 , by when can i expect medicals.
4. My consultant is not very keen on sending enquiry letter to VO, as he says they will give generic information that they are still processing the file. He asks to wait wait wait. I am waiting since last two years eagerly.
Request everyone to give inputs on my case. Shall b very thankful.
Wish early processing for everyone.
God Bless

I feel there is nothing special or abnormal in your case. You hold the same status what almost of this thread members do, In other words, No one received the letter what they described in ecas. Also, you consultant is right, they can't help it, You need to wait the way everyone else here is doing since more than 2 years

We are hoping and expecting to get MR in next 6 months time. However, there is no gaurentee for anything. Its just need to be positive ito get VISA.

God bless,
Kavya

Dear kavya n munir
thanks for responding
my concern was that ki itna toh pta chal jaata ki i have passed the eligibility test. i am ready to wait for medicals. But eligibility ka pta chal jaata to mann shant ho jaata. I also told my consultant to order my caips notes. He told they will write things which we already know , like application recd on, started processing on dt. Etc and not much info is there. Is he right? If yes, is gcms the other option. I dont know much abt gcms. Pls guide.

Thanks once again

The best thing is order GCMS notes , alot of applicants who are in process and waiting for medicals have already had there GCMS notes .

You will get most of your question, answered in. gCMS

boss, the Caips/GCMS also have the officers notes on your case. you will know what they feel, think and what to expect next.
Also, you can check on the next communication outgoing date. also your medical due date ! all imp info, only GCMS/Caips can offer!

So, best is to order it !

I heard from my consultant that cic mailed some applicants to done their PCC again & to send it within 30days. How many of the forum members receive such mail & when ? and does the cic communicate with them after they send the PCC.?

I got my GCMS report yesterday. Following are the main points to share:

Application group name - MI1 RFV Docs pending
Points awarded by the VO – 77
Selection Status – Passed
Security Status – BLANK
Criminality Status – IN PROGRESS
Comments by VO – Eligibility passed, Funds Met, Crim pending. ECD: Please issue med X 2, and request :- Indian PCCs, RPRFs, PPTs
Last application update date: 01.06.2012

My question: Should I send them the PCCs right now without their request letter?? It might save some time in further processing.

hai all,
what is gcms?how we can collect our gcms.what is the procedure behind that?what is the time duration to get gcms.please help me

Need advice on one issue:

If a person has resided in 2 or more different states within India for more than 6 months at a stretch, do we need to submit the police clearance certificate for all the states or the police clearance certificate from the current state of residence would suffice?

Kindly help out on this

No. You do not need to submit the police clearance certificate for all state.

India is one country. if you lived more than 6 month in DIFFERENCE COUNTRY than you need to submit difference police certificate.

good luck
