The best way is to apply once u got IP. Because, when its RBVO details, you dont get much in CAIPS. at the same time you can definately apply through your friend, it wont cost u much.

Dear Kavya,
If you have some relative in Canada, I think you should apply too. We may know some important facts regarding your (and everybody else's) telephonic interview from your CAIPS.
Had you applied immediately after getting into in-process, I bet you could have known about the impending interview well in advance and you could have answered more confidently

there is not much difference between these two updates. Applicants who received 1st AOR before 28 sept 2010 are having file transfer date and who received 1st AOR on and after 28 sept and having UCI nos are not having file transfer date in their e-cas.

I did receive my 1st AOR on Jun 20th 2010, but never got any file transfer date on my e-cas till date, also never got any UCI no.

today my escalation changed to in process and the additional line is added in my account.
Started processing my application on 27th April.

few querries:

1) I am in IP mode now from 26th April 2012.Looks like MR should come in July August.
2)I am In Abu Dhabi and my VO is ND.How should I get the MR-through an E mail or through a post mail?
3)Suppose if i get ti through the Post mail and if i get the mai after a delay say @ a month,will that MR date expire?I mean MR is to be done in a month time after they issue MR or its within 3 months time?
4)How can i send my PP from Abu DHabi to India & vice versa?
5)Is there any facility by which we can go to CHC ND,deposit the PP in person and after a couple of weeks collect it personally?

Hi Edmonta,

1) Congrats for getting IP status. No one can predict when MR will come.
2) Now a days they send MR by e-mail too but you have to keep an eye on postal mail also.
3)deadline to send MR is within 30 days and it cannot be extended.
4)I think you cannot send passport by postal mail, better consult Qorax for the same.
5)No you cannot submit PP in person, but yes you can collect it later on getting visa.

there sud havebn some update so far, isnt it?
tho it sounds sad but I fear ur case mite have been kept in negative slot(jst my opinion).
n they wont do any thing for the next 2-3 months and afterwards they show decision made.

Please check this link to see the progress at NDVO, a number of applicants have had their status change to In-process with a processing date, however, everyone is still waiting for MRs. NDVO may be planning to complete assessment of all MI-1s by June/July this year. So stay tuned.
