Hi everybody,

As most of my friends, i m also waiting n waiting for ages. I recieved my 2nd AOR on January 6.
Till then i hvnt heard anything from ND VO. Now after sick of waiting so long, i applied for PR about 2 months back through
Manitoba Provincial nominee Programme, as my real sister lives in winnipeg. While processing Manitoba immigration asked me to provide
A letter in writing asking that if i will b issued letter of approval from mpnp, i will have to withdraw my application from federal skilled category.

Now 2 days before, i hv recieved my letter of approval from manitoba immi. ( ;D ;D voooohoooo.....).
Now in L.O.A.. I hv been asked to send complete application to NDVO, .

Now. My question is whether i hv to apply for withdrawl of my fedral application 1st n then apply for MPNP or i can directly Send my MPNP file.

Is there any way ndvo can swith my application fee from fedral to mpnp provinicial nominee ( as its of same amount)?

I hv sent a mail to ndvo as well but hvnt heard anything yet.

Any1 suggest me wht to do ?

Hi all,

I got GCMS notes yesterday , the last time visa officer worked on my file was 01/08/11, it says preparation review completed , IELTS and Age points given verified, educational and experience letter appears genuine, FOSS check done.

I would appreciate your comments, if the visa officer mentioned that the documents appear genuine then there is still a chance for employment verification.

in about two weeks, CIC will update its quarterly data on processing times on its website..we will have a clearer picture then, about the waiting time...I hope it doesnt cross 18 months (from 15 months ) .

Hi SandySurrey,
Thanks for sharing this information. It at least confirms that we may be in the verification stage (which may take around 4 months)..
Did your report mention when is the next date they will look at your application ( BFD)?

Thanks again

I think FOSS (database) check, etc are part of background checking. Next is probably employment verification. If we are in priority stream this phase would take around 4 months. Let us hope to see MRs soon as that will clarify every thing.

Dear Friends,

I just came to know through details from data.gc.ca that there are far more applicants waiting in the queue to get processed. They received so many applications during Jan-April 2010 period. For example CHC New Delhi has inventory of approx 18800 for Pre June 2010 MI 1. and Approx. 4500 for Post June 2010 MI 2. Annual target for skilled worker category is around 7500-8000 (approx. 4500 visas have been issue this year so far) for CHC New Delhi for year 2011. So It will take many months to process all the files than any one would have imagined.
(Please note that above data is available in data.gc.ca as end of June 30, 2011)

The due date was 29 sep 2011 and its already passed.

The 2 yrs that CIC is mentioning in its communication to some users, could be the maximum that any of the VO would take.
for eg, as of now for FSW the processing time varies from 11-26 months across different countries.

I doubt if ND would take 2 years from 2nd AOR as they have released their data on July 26th 2011 as 15 Months . There is a vast difference between 15 months and 2 years ! They would be a few months off the mark from 15 months to finalize. Lets not forget , this is the time to finalize . The MR and PPR would be atleast a good 2-3 months before this.

I am hopeful, that we shoudl hear something around Jan/Feb 2012 and probably finalize by June/July 2012.

Fingers crossed !

i wish atleast it happens next year tired of waiting for this pr couldnt try for something else as so much of time and money has been spent on this. i wish as u said it happens in january / february . i got my second AOR on 17 th jan 2011........

Happy new for prejune applicants,
Those applicants whose files recieved by CIO till early april2010 with file tranfer date of march, april, may and june2010 are going for inprocess from today, irrespective of their occupation priority.
Cheers.
