Everything looks fine. There are chances that they might not be satisfied with some of the documents you provided. Which you can resend to them. Just wait for the letter they send you and replay accordingly.

I am not sure but I think you will also need to provide the reason for tatkal passport. May be some letter from CHC indicating you need to submit passport urgently.

Hey Ankit Congrats Buddy! U r on yer way! As Imran said, u need to have a valid reason for Tatkal passport. I made my own passport under this scheme within 10 days. Let me tell u my own procedure for that. I took the letter from the agency which includes the reason and an application for Tatkal passport to SSP of my city. He verified my police record and sanctioned my application with stamp seal. Then the nxt procedure is same as u explained. Just submit your file first at the office then take your letter and verified application to the Head officer. He will ask you for the reason and tell u that your passport will be mailed within 7-10 days. Thats all.............

My ECAS is still RBVO and also I have not received any mail with medical forms so far. It was just the e-mail from CHC that confirmed that meds were sent.

Police record verification is not needed for 4 year old as per Passport rules but I think, I know what needs to be done here, I am on track with the passport thing now.

i got my sons passport in 2 days

it is true that you must have solid reason to get advanced verification from SSP ,Megistrate,SHO,etc

the megistrate of my city was a friend of mine ..so i didnt had any problem ...but it took almost one day at the RPO in chandigarh for whole appication procedure !!

same happed with our case ...after getting passports ...they did a police verification after 15 days

Guys I want to share a news.

I sent an e-mail to CHC asking about my application status and they replied that they have already dispatched the Medicals forms on Wednesday. They have advised me to get the New Passport for Child and submit all passports and medicals in 45 days.

I am yet to receive any letters/forms via posts.

So CHC is moving and we should see lot of action this tuesday

1st AOR date : 9th Feb File Transfer: 17th Feb, 2nd AOR date: 7th May
