I have and update...My agent has received a letter from CHC asking for the following....

1. Photographs of my Marriage
2. Proof of Funds.

They have given 30 days to provide all

I can understand the Requirement of Proof of funds...but I dont understand why are they asking for marriage photos when I have submitted my marriage certificate to them....

It's very disappointing. I thought you would receive medicals directly.

So, they will send medicals after receiving these details.

Yes sm..even I dont understand why the medicals....Yes I did maintained the balance in my account...The Proof of funds might be because I showed my mother's PF as 30% of my settlement fund....But now I have enough in bank account to show to them.....Let's see..will send them the docs ASAP....

They have not mentioned bank statement specifically but just mentioned to provide Proof of funds....I am sending bank statements as a proof of funds.

I think you collect bank certificate issued on bank's letterhead with sign & stamp , it will be an additional document.

well they definetly ask for marriege photographs even if you have submitted marriege certificate nothing to worry about just for their verification only.
and proof of funds as to what honeyjack has said its better to take certificate from bank on their letter head along with the bank statement.

I finally received Maple leaf visa stamped passports for me and my family. I am delighted and also ecstatic about finally getting the procedure completed.

looks like i am next on the table...but there is a consderable gap in our dates...

What are your next plans of landing, further education or employment...was interested to know as we are in the same field...

Thanks for the wishes, I plan to move there in June - I am a CA and also have a India and a US Masters - so I am kind of done with studies. I might have to get some local professional affiliation and a good job. But this is the plan I am not sure when it would come into being ..maybe like all I would do a survival job and then a starter perm job in my field for a year or so and then branch out.
Good luck to you ..I am sure your visa is in the mail --- anyways it is too cold to leave for Canada right now..keep in touch we can network in Canada since most of us would reach there this year. ;D ;D ;D
