Hey All,
I had submitted my documents to CHC, ND in May(15th) - which was received by them but I have not received any AOR communication from them. My brother applied at the same time with me ..he received his AOR packet within 3 weeks. Has this happened to anyone. I apologise I have not been following the discussions if this has happened to anyone else.

Usually, you receive AOR from CHC, ND in 4 weeks max. It comes by normal post so, there is possibility that it could have been lost by Indian post. You should wait for another a week and if you don't get by the time then You should check with your local post office.

This is Sandeep from the other forum, thanks for guiding me to this forum. If it depends on Indian post then I can easily lose hope on getting the document from them. Is there a way to check the status online - can I use the file number provided by CIC in Canada. The uncertainty is killing me.. it is very difficult to recreate the package - I do have a courier confirmation of the packet received by CHC, ND.

Is there a way to check the status online - can I use the file number provided by CIC in Canada. The uncertainty is killing me.. it is very difficult to recreate the package - I do have a courier confirmation of the packet received by CHC, ND.

Hi Sandeep,

Even I have gone thru the same situation. I sent my full docs on 08th May, 2010 and as per courier records the parcel delivered to CHC ND on 11th May, 2010(They update their website automatically without any proof after 02 days) but later shown the records of delivering the docs on 14th & 19th May respectively. Even I was in the same situation and could not able to provide original IELTS & PCC in next 15 days(Though the deadlines were also close).

I kept on checking status of my case on CIC website 7-8 times everyday and then I decided to mark a case specific enquiry to CHC ND for my case and I mentioned the Immigration file no(1st AOR received by email from CIC). I got a revert from embassy after 07 days and they changed the first AOR no with the secod AOR no(Which one gets post submission of full docs). In the meantime I also got the AOR by mail from CHC ND and status updated as "Received by VO".

Without any delay pls mark a case specific enquiry to CHC about full docs delivery in your case.

CIC update status of candidates application on every monday/tuesday. Before sending case specific enquiry kindly check the status of your case tomorrow.

You will get to know about the same when the members on this forum will update about their ecas status change. If by then your case not get update then mark a case specific enquiry.
