if u have any friend or relative in canada who is canadian PR or citizen, can apply for you.

u just need to send filled IMM5475(appli of CAIPS) AND IMM5476 (use of representative) to ur relative/friend in canada. he will print the filed form, sign on it and send it through courier or fax.. thats it. BUT YES courier costs around 7 to 8 $ with tax.

inshort we can say that charges of CAIPS are nominal then courier expense

but again its cheap then spending 40$

Thx for the information even i am planning to order CAIPS.
My sister in US can she apply CAIPS for me from US? can't we apply online instead of filling the forms and all.

is IMM5476 is required as it is form for authorized representative & it is clearly mentioned that they will correspond with that representative for any further updates on your case.

IMM5475 IS ONLY REQUIRED

Only Canadian Citizen or Pr holder who is legally staying in canada is authorize to use this service on behalf of applicant

1)No Ordering CAIPS will not going to affect processing time infact you will get clear picture of your file.This is second time I order CAIPS and visa officer alloted me 71 points & comments to release my medical (i yet to receive my medical though) from this blog i came to know that people who stays in canada or claim blood relative points have to wait for medical bit longer so i guess i have to wait for medical.One of my friend same time line like me order CAIPS 3 times and recently he received Medical request. By ordering CAIPS visa officer will knows that you had order CAIPS but dont worry its your right to ask status of file.Fill out the form scan it and send to your relative/friends (Pr or canadian citizen)


2) It will take 6--8 weeks to get CAIPS

My ECASE is still RBVO, so do I request for it now or wait for it to update to IN-Process?

People says best time to order CAIPS when your ECAS is in process & if you didt receive Medical in 30-40days then its worth to order.
But in my case I order CAIPS when my staus was RBVO and my CAIPS letter says CHC release information on 15th october you can judge CHC almost finalise my case on 15th october and started processing My file on 26th october. In my opinion wait for tommorow if nothing than go for CAIPS

Long time didn't post here...
got the meds from my consultant only around oct 22... my consultant had requested an extension on my behalf and CHC allowed until Nov 25th to received the meds and pp.

got an appointment with a DMP in Chennai for the 4th.
The tests went well.
Sent the pps with med receipt and RPRF which reached on Nov 11.
Got a call from CHC ND on Nov19th 11 41782000 asking for all the dependent on my application
and inquired if we had both boys to which I emphatically said that d... was the boy and d... was a girl
And he said that was the problem that the girl's pp says "Male" WHAT?!!! I couldn't believe it. So he said that they would return the all the pp and that we need to fix the error and re send all the pp together again!!!

I rushed to the pp office asking what needs to be done. He replied calmly that they must verify if it was OUR mistake or theirs!!! That left me wondering shouldn't this be corrected whoseover's mistake... just wanted to know how long it would take to fix such and error in the pp!!! God what a bummer!!!

U cant apply through us citizen . because as per rule, ur representative should be canadian pr or citizen. and CIC only disclose ur information to them only who are PR/citizen of canada
