hi guys...

i have received my medical request scanned copies from my consultant. hard copy yet to be received thru courier... in the letter it is dated 18-10-2010. that means almost 12 days are over. still i have to wait until i get the original one to take the medical test..

I was in the same situation, but when I asked CHC they specifically asked me to apply for the new passport and also gave me an extension of 30 days over the 45 days to submit my passport. Mind you I had already taken my medical examination and was ready to send the packet. I would suggest apply for the passport since the letter text specifically states the picture on the passport for kids under 6 cannot be older than 3 years. Rest you can take a chance. Not that it will have any issues.

Is it okay to get the new passports after medicals are taken? after the medicals i can apply for a new one for him and submit the same once i get the passport request. pls advise...

Hi Thomas, as we were discussing you would need the nEw passport. YOu can apply the new Passport at the earliest, you do not need to deposit the old one , at least I was not required to deposit the old one at RPO Ghaziabad, and can use it for medicals

congrats thomas. well get ur passports made asap for ur kid. well i saw my own x rays they put passport number over the film, however the kids wont be needing x rays though
but u should immediately get the passports made via tatkal.

Guys I have great news......I've made it after 5 yrs of waiting....my agent called me just now, my landing papers have been received at their head office, will be sent to me after checking the details on my papers and PP.
God has been very kind to me. Praying to God that every1 on this forum get to experience this happiness that I am feeling rite now, by successfully completion of their processing. God bless us all.

well i called up fortis they are sending my medicals to delhi after a week. very disappointed..took 7 days to post it and will reach after another couple of days so practically will be in embassy after diwali.
had a discussion with the dmp . the meds are clear though
