Full docs sent to Buffalo within three months ahead or back around Nov, 2010

i actually received request from Sydney to submit full docs on Nov 3, 2010. i did it on December 31 2010. on February 18 buffalo returned whole package asking me to correct some info in personal history which i have missed and mail them back on Feb 21, 2011 I have received 2nd AOR twice. First time on June 22, 2011 and Second time on July 7, 2011. My status on e-cas didnt change still shows Received by visa office

Yongeeglinton, May I ask what personal history you missed in your first package? Buffalo is so friendly to you that they could give you a chance to correct it.

i missed 3 months period explaining what i was doing. I didnt do anything basically thats why didnt explain. yeah so nice from them )

I found just now that the mail address had disappeared in the e-cas. I sent my inquiry about 2nd AoR to Buffalo a few days ago.
Do you know what that means or that means nothing?

I just found in my email box that I got my file number from Buffalo today. However, I am not sure that whether I missed the email from Buffalo before or they just sent me the acknowledge email after receiving my inquiry about my application. It seems that I missed the former email becasue they mentioned in the reply that the acknowledge letter, which they sent me this time, is a copy.

They didn't mention that. That's also what I want to know. I tend to send them another enquiry about this. There is also no Visa officer's name in their reply this time. I dont' know if that is normal.

congrats katydid! that's a good news at least buffalo PR applications are moving... just wondering we received 2nd AOR last May and we don't have any updates until now... but i read from other threads they applied for PR at BUffalo VO last Feb2011 and they received MR last week of august... getting worried what happened to our application?

It seems that they have priority.

BTW, is there a Visa officer's name in the acknowledge of receipt from Buffalo? I didn't find a Visa officer's name in my 2nd AoR.

katydid, we also applied for spousal open work permit here in manila philippines and that's the timeline you saw in my profile. since we're looking for other ways to be with my husband soon and it seems that our PR application is really a long long way before the approval...

i didn't notice visa officer's name, the letter indicates the file number starting with B at the upper left side then the letter states that "this is to advise you blah blah blah then 2nd paragraph The next step 3rd Interviews 4th Dependants 5th Changes in personal info

did we receive the same letter from the immigration?
