It's almost same as mine. I had thought that they would give some suggestions about updating documents in 2nd AoR like 1st AoR. However, there is not. And I can not access the page linking to "click here". Can you open that hyperlink? Do you know what we should do further about my documents after receiving the 2nd AoR if there is some information changing? Do we need to send updates to Buffalo right now or just on their request?

These timelines above indicate that many applicants, who recieved their 1st AoR from Jan to Mar, even in Apr,have got their file transfered to other consulates. Buffalo, go ahead and speed up.

I used to check ECAS almost everyday, but I don't check them so often now,
because I don't see any progress... :'(

BUT! I checked my ECAS last night and my status changed to "IN PROCESS"

It says:

We received your application for permanent residence on June 8, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 28, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

and they added:

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 17, 2011.

it doesn't mention the date transferred my application to buffalo VO though.

Katydid, please update my status on the spread sheet.

It's amazing. I have not checked this thread for only one week.
That is really a good new for everyone here. You got your 1st AoR in Oct last year. Buffalo is working at speed recently. They still worked on the applications with the 1st AoR prior to May 2010 a few week ago.

I could not access the sheet right now. I guess that's perhaps becasue I am in my country at the moment. I will change it next week.

BTW, Best wish to iamxiaogua. Hope you could take a step forward on the way ASAP.

checked yesterday and my file has been transferred to NY! Hopefully at least this little movement will speed up MR being sent out.

Congratulations! It's so happy to see some of our cases are moving.

It looks like the Buffalo is processing cases much faster than before, as we were just talking about 1AOR in March 2010 last month, and now we hear the good news from 1ARO in Oct 2010. Good luck to all of us.

Today, my consultant e-mailed me that she received my MR
I got MR ;D

The letter doesn't mention the interview was waived though.

I now don't live in Canada, I came back to my country since last month.
I believe that I can do my Medical in my home country, but my consultant says
I need come back to Vancouver and take it there.

Is that true...? I just would like to make sure...

From my opinion, as you could do MR in advance, there is no reason to stop you doing MR in your own country. All the MR will goes to Otawa for further evaluation.

My temporary status in Canada will be expired in 3 weeks and I came back to my country
to wait my PR to be processed. So i don't have a plan to go back to Canada.

Thanks for letting me know the results will go to Ottawa. Now I will book an appointment to do my medical.
