Don't know but I would assume that she got there biometrics earlier.
Just checked daughter's GCKey, still nothing. She applied via London on 22 May 2020 (thanks to university admissions dragging their feet and CAQ taking 3 times predicted time)
and passed all checks on 22 June 2020 when her "approved" permit was archived! It's a simple press of button to send her the necessary Port of Entry letter and damned frustrating that she was one of the first to apply for a CAQ then study permit at her university, she applied for her course 54 weeks ago, yet she is in limbo along with possible 100,000 other first time study permit applicants.

My application's primary office is the shanghai office too, I got my AIP around August 28th, so hopefully, I will get my PPR soon :(

Australia: Submitted 5th Jun., AIP 24th Aug., OPR 19th Oct.
China: Submitted 1st Jul., AIP 29th Aug., OPR 19th Oct.
Awesome! I submitted Early June, AIP 8th of September. My university has in person classes and will continue to have next semester. I think they are proceeding now with the application. I am just worried because I did my biometrics in 1st of September, so maybe I will have to wait longer.
